COSLYS Shower Gel Dry Skin* & Body Milk Cream* (check here)
One of the perks of being a beauty blogger is the opportunity to discover new brands and products and today’s post is one of that instances. Coslys (check here) is a eco-friendly, organic brand that was born in 2003 in France and has recently arrived on the Canadian shore. They reached out to me through Twitter and I was given the opportunity to trial a few of their products. I was kindly sent four items and after religiously using them for more than two weeks, this is my verdict.
COSLYS Shower Gel Dry Skin (C$16.50)*
A lovely, lovely, absolutely lovely shower gel that leaves my skin feeling clean and soft without the uncomfortable tightness. I always use a loofah for shower and I noticed that it didn’t lather as much as some shower gels but enough to give a lovely wash.
I do have to warn that this has a herbal scent to it. It reminds me of a Chinese herbal medicine shop which I don’t mind but it might be weird for others.
Body Milk Cream (C$24.50)*
This smells like a garden of citrus! My husband frowned on me walking around the house smelling like a basket of oranges but I love it! The texture of this body milk is very light and I was worried it wouldn’t be enough to keep my skin moisturized the whole day but I was wrong. Despite the light texture, my skin stayed soft and moisturized the whole day.
One of the main reasons why I love this body milk is how fast it absorbs into the skin. I don’t have to sit there for a couple of minutes trying to massage the lotion into my skin. It also didn’t leave any sticky, uncomfortable residue on top of my skin so two thumbs up for that.
The only downside I can think of is this body milk would be too light during winter. But then again, I think most of us would need much thicker and heavier cream for winter so it’s not a huge downside.

I was sent a 5mL sample of this hence I have to use a picture from another website. The sample also didn’t come with instructions so I had to google on how to use this mask. It’s suggested to apply a thin layer over freshly cleansed skin and leave it for 10 minutes. To remove is easy, just use a clean tissue or cotton pad and wipe off the mask.
Initially I wasn’t sure about this mask because I have never used anything like this before. The texture is similar to a very thick moisturizer and it sits on top of your face. I applied a very thin layer, removed it after 10 minutes and my skin felt a little tacky like there’s a layer of residue on it. I didn’t know what to make of it however, I continued with my serum, night cream and soon forgot about it. When I went to brush my teeth to get ready to bed, I saw my skin looking fresh and it felt very smooth. I was using my usual products and the only new addition that night was this mask so I clearly know the results I’m getting is from this mask.
The texture and application does take some getting used to but the results are worth it. Brilliant!

Just like the Hydrating Mask, I received a 5mL sample of this hence I have to use a picture from another site. But let me tell you, this day cream is sooooo good! The texture is similar to whipped cream; light and fluffy. It absorbed quickly and leaves my skin soft, smooth and moisturized the whole day without any oiliness.
But the best part about this day cream is how beautiful it made my foundation look! My foundations and BB creams seem to apply so much better and it gives a beautiful, luminous glow to my base. It’s the first day cream that didn’t cause my foundation to slide off or sit on top of my skin. In short? You need this, I need this, everybody’s mother and grandmother needs this. It’s freaking brilliant!
COSLYS has given me a new ray of hope towards organic and natural brands. All this while I am under the impression that organic brands are pricier however COSLYS price range is surprisingly affordable and the quality is just amazing.
Are you familiar with COSLYS? Are you interested to try any of the products?
