These days you can’t go anywhere without someone talking about coconut oil. I swear coconut oil is taking over the world and whoever started this movement is pure genius as a decade or so ago, coconut oil was supposedly bad and really naughty for your health.
And now I can’t pee without thinking of coconut oil. I jest…
I have to confess that with the exception of a couple of samples, I didn’t fully jump onto the coconut oil bandwagon because;
1. Everywhere I went, I only saw it sold in large bottles and containers
2. What am I supposed to do with such a large amount?!
3. What if I don’t like it? And then what am I reallyyyy going to do with such a large amount?!
One of the perks about being a beauty blogger is sometimes opportunity comes knocking on my door at the right time and I was lucky to receive 3 bottles of Skinny & co. Coconut Oil*.

Not only does it makes a great makeup remover, my skin feels and looks really smooth and refreshed with it. Initially I was extremely hesitant because I know from previous oil pulling experience that I hate the feel and taste of coconut oil in my mouth so imagine my surprise when I found out that this tastes delicious! It tasted and felt like I was eating pure coconut, it didn’t feel like I was eating oil if that makes any sense. Skinny Coconut Oil* has a smoothness that I can’t quite explain, you have to try it to understand what the fuss is about. Do take note that coconut taste is very strong and lingers for a good 5 minutes after swallowing but it eventually disappears. This might bother some but it’s what makes it so delicious for me. I’m not sure if I experience any mental clarity but then again, I think I am beyond help in that department… It is safe to say I am a full convert and have 100% hopped onto the coconut oil bandwagon.
